IPTV for New York households
Verizon Fios, Spectrum and Optimum dominate NYC broadband. Aim for 25+ Mbps on 5 GHz Wi-Fi in apartment buildings — old 2.4 GHz networks in high-rises cause most buffering tickets we see from Manhattan and Brooklyn. TVZien subscribers in New York typically watch NFL (Jets, Giants), NBA (Knicks, Nets), MLB (Yankees, Mets) and international news feeds.
A Fire Stick 4K on ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi is the most reliable setup we recommend in New York. Smart TV apps vary by model year — when in doubt, use the full setup guide.
